Congregational Meeting
Please join us for our Congregational Meeting on July 20 after second service at 1:45-2:30PM. This meeting will reflect on the first half of the year and look ahead to whatโs coming. We will be introducing and voting on our new Diaconate nominees. We need to achieve quorum (at least 84 members) to move ahead with the Diaconate vote, so we especially encourage our members to attend! Non-members are welcome to attend, as well!
VBS Set-up Volunteers Needed!
We need many volunteers to help set-up for VBS week! If you are available on Sunday, 8/10, please stick around after 2nd service to help transform our space into the arctic tundra for our "True North" theme!
CG Host and Coordinator Recruitment
We're looking for Community Group coordinators and hosts for the upcoming Fall semester! If you are interested in either opening up your home or being a coordinator, please fill out this interest form!
Summer Interest Groups
Sign-ups for summer interest groups are open! It's a great way for people with similar interests and hobbies to form communities and fellowship together during our CG off-season. Our groups will meet from June through August. Go to our Church Center Groups page to see what groups are being offered and sign-up!
Looking for Communion Ushers
Serve to be a communion usher. On the first Sunday of each month, we are looking for ushers to help set up and usher the communion elements to our congregation. If you are a member and are looking for ways more ways to serve, please sign up here.
Abide - Every First Friday at 7PM (Next date: August 1st)
Jesus often withdrew from the crowds, noise, and the demands of life to pray and spend undistracted time with his Heavenly Father. On the first Friday of each month, we will gather here in the sanctuary to abide in God's presence, pray, and praise. No registration required. Click HERE to view upcoming dates.
Deeper - Every Second Friday at 7PM (Next date: August 8th)
Our Deeper sessions will now take place every second Friday of the month! No registration required. CLICK HERE to view all our Deeper dates to mark in your calendar!
Meet & Greet Lunch - Every 2nd Sunday
Whether you're a newcomer or someone who's been coming to Exilic for a while, this is the perfect opportunity to casually meet more people in the community. After first service, the Events/Fellowship committee will be waiting for you near the front/left of the stage. We'll then split into smaller groups and go out to eat.
Father's Heart Outreach - Every 2nd Saturday
Opportunity to serve hungry and food insecure New Yorkers! The Father's Heart Ministries, one of Hope for New York's affiliates, is looking for volunteers from Exilic every 2nd Saturday of the month. Volunteers can cook breakfast, pack groceries, and interact with the guests - the Father's Heart serves approximately 1,000 people in 3 hours, so helping hands are greatly appreciated! This is also a great opportunity to meet more people at Exilic who have a heart for service! Sign up HERE to serve!
